Explained here.

http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=259636

PM Joe (PrevxHelp) Or Wait for a response from him Normally he can fix this issue.

Joe.
As a recommendation you might want to change that message to say Contact support or something seems to be confusing alot of people as of late.

Basically they limit the size to prevent exploit and not many computers need more then what is already allowed. The few that do Joe is normally more then happy to help out. 8)

Ill Quote Joe sense he explains it better.

Definitely - to save on resources in the cloud database, we will cut off scans if they reach an excessive number of files (the number of scans doesn't matter but the volume of files scanned is what we are concerned with).

It really is extremely rare but we've seen it sometimes on users with software-level imaging software that keeps a copy of every file on the local system when backing it up or on users with multiboot systems that have many OS installations on the same PC.

The warning will only ever occur from a full system scan by a licensed user and it is primarily in place to prevent abuse from some services we've come across in the past that just try and use Prevx behind the scenes to scan files illegitimately. Our systems are extremely scalable but it is of no use to anyone to have one user taking up the resources of 5,000 users (which is what we've seen :-\ )

So, these limits are in place primarily as just a deterrent against automated "attacks" but we're always willing to bend for real users :) " }-

Like Said before it's nothing against you it's just there to prevent abuse. We will just wait for Joe's response. ;)

I'm not sure that you understand he will extent your license so that you can do a full scan! Just send him your License via PM!

No Idea. It could be also that most those might be "Whitelisted" Files. Who knows only Joe does for sure. Maybe he could fill us in.

Sorry for the delayed response :-[ Busy times at Prevx (and I'm over in our HQ in England ;))

The FPs are caused from a new part in our scan engine which is now looking for PDF exploits locally - we're going to dial it back a bit as it appears to be too overly suspicious, but if we could get some samples from your system, TH, that would be very useful :)

Thanks!

Hello all,
Rather than edit your license keys, we're nearing a release which will correct the scan limitation fundamentally, which is definitely the easiest fix for it :)

I'll make a post as soon as it's released with download details!
