I'm not really a big gamer, but on Facebook I do keep up with my Mafia Wars.
Recently I have been searching on Google for MMORPG's and a lot of results show up, some have linux clients.

Fedora has a games project (https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Games) going on.
From browsing the search results it's not easy to tell which direction to go, so how about you?

Do you play (online) games on Linux systems and which?

I do like a game and was totally addicted to Frets On Fire lol.

My son has got me into some really good first person shooter stress busters ;D :

I love Urban Terror (fps) and UFO Alien Invasion (based on old DOS turn-based UFO).
P.S., I've reviewed some 40 Linux games or so, you can take a look if you like ...

I've just noticed you have. Linux has a lot going for it with games. As you mention now less Wine...as a lot mostly have installers, and the best is you really can't beat something that's free and has a good following.

Thank you for the game reviews, Mrk!

Last night I searched for online games, figuring that it offers platform independent joy and if I play Mafia Wars, there might be more out there on the internet.

I made an Online Game Collection (http://delicious.com/wilbert.vanbakel/games+online) at delicious.com.

There seems to be a lot of good first person shooter games for linux (which is a bit scary since we are all supposed to be unpopular geeks).
I just downloaded smokin' guns, a western (U.S.) shooter game. If anyone is using Ubuntu you may want to check out this site.
