Ever wanted a AV that does EXACTLY what it says it does. No unneeded features it's just there to do exactly what its supposed to do. Wonder if they have been tested by AV-test or Av-Comp.

I wonder how long before this one shows up in some peoples sigs ? :lurking:

Nice review there jmonge, as always! ;D One great feature about it, is also that it is probably the AV that doesn't conflict with any other security application, ever and you can even run it next to your existing AV.

Isn't that great! ;D

Well I thought this was very funny, but sadly I know many people who would have easily fallen for this. Made me smile - thanks Fajo! I've uninstalled FD-ISR, SandboxIE, Shadow Defender, Symantec Endpoint Protection and my entire operating system and am running PlaceboAV on it's own. It's a definite keeper for me! :thumb:

Finally, an AntiVirus being developed that realizes that producing an endless number of signatures is simply not sustainable. The heuristics in this AV are exceptional and I suspect all its competitors are busy reverse engineering it, as we speak. :thumb:

At least you will always know where your AV will rank in tests.. None of that up and down roller coaster.

I tried to download PlaceboAV but couldn't.
Then it struck me; It's so good, it doesn't need to be downloaded or installed.

Total protection freeware and no updating headaches, plus absolutely no drag on my system.

Only one thing; where is the link to submit FPs ?

FP's are you serious.. With a product this good if it detects something you know its legit. Hell even the hackers out there hack a website install this free of charge to give the site better AV protection.

Thanks for that, Fajo.

For a moment, I was thinking that this might be a flawed application.
