I want to make an image of my whole Ubuntu partition.
How do I unmount the partition? Do I boot fully into a live CD? Even though I have Clonezilla, will I have to apt-get it again while in the live CD?
Thanks,
JD

Download the Clonezilla live ISO file from here (http://clonezilla.org/download/sourceforge/) and follow the step-by-step instruction from here (http://clonezilla.org/clonezilla-live/doc/)... :-*

Well, thanks to Mrkvonic's advice in another thread about using Clonezilla, and Sputnik's links, I have a beautiful image of my SUSE and Ubuntu partitions.
Once again, I appreciate how you all help us newbies so much!

@Judge Dee
Glad to hear. It's a good thing seeing people switch to Linux, and since we all enjoy this wonderful free software helping each other is the least we can do I think.
