I keep getting an invalid message popping up when i try to install them.

--enable-extensions or use the beta or dev build. actually, if you're using stable i don't know if you can use extensions. someone will correct me though.

I did the enable extensions thing and still now go.

you need the dev build use this to switch if you are not on dev

reg build does not have the current build needed to use them you only get this with the dev channel

Does the regular version of Chrome now support extensions? :doubt:

I am using version 4.0.249.+ and it supports extensions. This version of Chrome seems pretty stable.

Yes beta, but I have found this version as stable as version 2. Plus the extra extensions make Chrome much better for surfing IMO. I have six extensions enabled (got rid of a few caused problems)...any more than that seemed to have an impact on surfing speed- although I imagine the type of extension will effect surfing speed differently.
