Hi Guys
be patient with me (First post) as I ask a question probably addressed a million times on this forum!!
I have installed NOD32 version 4:)
I think that at the foot of every email sent - there are 2 messages to the effect that eset NOD32 has checked this mail (or words to that effect)
Do not mind 1 entry, but not 2. Where can I correct this little problem?
Many thanks

Make that a million and one times......

Setup > Email Client Protection. "Append tag messages" according to your preferences. "To infected mail only" on both options, is my preference - I've no interest in being ESET's advertising board!.

Yes, thanks. These messages really pile up in an email conversation with strings of messages attached that were checked earlier.

There is another point that newer virus signatures may find a parasite missed earlier in stored email so I don't want to lose that capability.8)

You're not losing that ability, the messages are still scanned. They're just not tagged.

Okay Jim! Good news! Tags off unless a hit, do you scan in and out or both?

If say read only what is the rationale.

How do I remove the notification tags that are appended to my email? (4.0)

Some folks like the append tag, others find it an annoyance, it is user choice.
