Anyone running KISS and using the Safe Run feature? I am not really familiar with sandbox programs so how does this do with internet facing apps such as media players and alternate browsers such as Opera, Firefox and Chrome? Do you have to take the programs out of Safe Run for them to update properly? What about videos and other downloads from a program in Safe Run? Any comments on the Safe Run component of KISS?

Hi regarding Kaspersky Saferun it uses Virtualization, to isolate the process from modifying system in reality. Yes you have to run the browsers outside to Safe Run to update them. All the programs you download are stored in separate folder. You can find this folder inside Kaspersky lab installed folders in your windows installed partition. As far as I have checked it in 32 bit OS of XP and Windows 7 it is effective, in completely isolating the applications when you run inside it.

Only incompatibility i found so far was with PrevX new version.
But upgrading to the last (.736) KIS version seems to have solved all problems.
