Is there a date when Eset Smart Security 5 will be released? And when will the beta programm of this one begin?
I hope someone knows this.

I think you are jumping the gun here. I have been an ESET customer for many years, and I have never known them to announce a release date far ahead of its time. ESET is continually improving ESS 4. Would it really make a difference to you if they rebranded the product as ESS 5?

ESET don't need to release a new product every year like other such joke vendors.

Just like norton, kaspersky (second best AV), mcafee, avast, avira, bitdefender, AVG. and everything else updates their AV with a new year tittle and version every year.

all they did was update, improved, added few things than call it a whole new version.

as for NOD32 from v3 to v4 it's really hard to tell the new 50+ improvements but i'm sure ESET would never lie to us. it's been a long time since than

Also agreed. I have no interest in being a permanent beta tester for the vendors that crank out new versions faster than they can make them stable.
