My d-link DIR 615 is sending a signal to about 12 feet max. Atm i'm 4 feet away with an excellent signal strength, there's no interference from any electrical hardware or anything from outside the house as we're on about an acre of land with no buildings near us. When i move the laptop down a hallway about 12 feet the signal is fair-poor and drops connection, the only obstical is a corner of a wall.
Does anyone know if there's a setting to make the signal range go further?

Which hardware version is it?

A1 - this is not support by DLINK (Marvel 500MHz with 32MB of RAM)
B1
C1 - Atheros 400MHz with 32MB of RAM
C2

I've owned A1 and C1 version A1 is fast but then you have WAN and LAN drop outs. C1 is also quick but overheats too much.
