I am running Eset Smart Security 4.0.467.0 on home PC running Windows XP. When I start MS Outlook I get the above error, any ideas on how to solve this, please?

Couldn't it be that you have a roaming profile stored on a server?

Thanks for reply, I am not aware of setting up a roaming profile, nor do I know anything about them. If you would like to explain in more detail what I should look for and do it would be appreciated.

Would this help?
1) turn off the email client
2) open the command line window (Start->Run-> cmd.exe)
3) run the following command from the command line:
del /Q "%APPDATA%\ESET\ESET Smart Security\Antispam\*.*"
4) start the email client

Marcos,
Yes! It appears to have sorted out the problem. Followed your instructions and re booted pc. Started Outlook and no message in red box at bottom right screen appeared. Hopefully it will not return in the future?
Many thanks for your help.
