Hi ,
I have now clean installed ESS 4.0467 on Windows XP SP2. (I had EAV 2.7 uninstalled)
Every boot I found in System Event log Error ID 7000 (NOD32krn service not started).
As far as I know NOD32krn is v.2.7 service. My search in registry gave me many leftovers v.2.7 (HCR, HKLM\HARDWARE\SYSTEM\ControlSetxxx\Services...).
I could disable NOD32krn in Services and Error ID 7000 gone. It is OK.
But since I have no v.2.7 more how can I clean my registry from this version leftovers safely? May I delete them manually?

Thanks,

Yes , you can . But I'd suggest you uninstall your ESS first . Then search the registry for leftovers of NOD and ESET . Delete them all .

Delete the folders in
Program files
Documents and Settings\~user~\Application data

Then , reinstall the latest version
