Hello all!

Today I downloaded and installed RVS 2010 on a Vista Home 64 bit laptop. I used 2008 version a lot on my desktop but have been waiting for the 64 bit compatible version for a while. Works great so far. I dont notice any cpu spikes or slowdowns or anything else adverse at this time. Just a couple of questions. I notice that in the event viewer under system, it reports the system shutdown unexpectedly every time I reboot with Returnil turned on. Is this anything to be concerned with? Also, is there a specific 64 bit version to download or only one download for both 32 and 64. I noticed it installed in the Program Files (x86) folder instead of the Program Files folder.

Thanks

Hi fosl and welcome to the forums :)

{QUOTE-> Is this anything to be concerned with? <-QUOTE}

No, This is known. From the development team:

{QUOTE-> The root cause: When Windows is shutting down, it puts a flag somewhere that the shutdown is expected. However, because virtualization is running, the safe shutdown flag disappears after reboot, and here is the event log record. <-QUOTE}

{QUOTE-> Also, is there a specific 64 bit version to download or only one download for both 32 and 64. <-QUOTE}

The installer is for both 32-bit and 64-bit.
