Downloads Freeze In Smart Security

Hi

I've downloaded the 30 day trial of Smart Security as am having problems with Norton i really like it but as mentioned above the downloads freeze when finished for about a minute any help on why this is happening.

Couldn't it be that you download large archives? In such case, when download completes the whole archive is extracted to the disk and each file scanned. You can try playing with size limit settings to see if it makes a difference, but we don't recommend it as it would affect security. Could you give us an example of such a url so that we can check it out?

Sorry for not posting sooner, its not just large files, it happens on small files such as the firefox installer.

When I downloaded open office it froze for about 3 minutes this happens in IE8 and firefox 3.5.3.
