This is info from 15/06/2009:

-{ Quote: "That's just how file backups works now: it's much slower than partition backup. We've been working over this technology to make it faster, and in coming Drive Backup 10 it works almost as fast as partition backup. Drive Backup 10 release is scheduled for this July-August." }-

Any news about new version?

I unfortunately do not have a specific date for the release but, I would have to believe it will be this month.:thumb:

For those of us who have Drive Backup 9 Personal, (build 10081), it is Windows 7 compatible however it won't mount the images. It was stated in other forums that 10 would resolve this issue. Will there be an "update" to 9 to allow this to work as well? Or will we have to purchase 10?

Hello Beemusic,

There's a service pack 2 for Drive Back Up 9 to make it compatible with Windows 7. Use the link below, log into your account, and download the new build. You will be required to uninstall the version you have and reinstall.

Hi Beemusic,

The update does make it Windows 7 compatible, but Drive Backup 9 is not capable of mounting images under any 64-bit OS. It isn't a bug, but rather a limitation. This will possible with DB10, but 9 will not have this capability added.

Contact us directly when Drive Backup 10 is released and we'll get you a nice discount if you're interested in upgrading.

Bump.
Any news about Drive Backup 10 Personal?
I have version 9 and i don't using it, because it is too slow for file backup.

Maybe it's time to stop waiting another few months and just buy other company software. :(

Hi,

There doesn't appear to be a Personal version.

There is Free version ( Backup &Recovery 10 Free)

There is also a Pro version ( Drive Backup 10 Pro).
