Licence validation?

I've just reinstalled LnP after a period without using the program and entered my licence details but I can't validate the information.I tried to contact Frederic a couple of Day's ago but haven't got a reply back as yet.Once the licence is validated in LnP and the program is uninstalled at a later date for some reason I believe that the previous licence doesn't work anymore is this correct?

I just received my licence from LnS which worked fine,although it was a different licence number from the one that I bought back in 2004.
