This is an excellent deal from Microsoft at the Moment, where as if you buy Windows Vista, you qualify for Windows 7 FREE! :argh:

The full versions are still pretty expensive. For the price they are charging, you might as well get a TechNet Plus subscription, which entitles you to a boatload of Microsoft applications.

Another good deal for some,

-{ Quote: "If you're an active student at an American university, or you at least have a working email address from a university (thanks, my old college!), you're entitled to a $30 price for Windows 7 Home Premium (update: or Pro!), which is normally at least $120. Best of all, the offer's good until January 3rd, so you've got plenty of time to bag a license" }-

The license is perpetual, but new keys won't be generated after your subscription runs out.

Note the usual 'rip off Britain' price differential $30 translates to £30 instead of less than £19 as is the current exchange rate.::)

Is that what it takes to increase sales of Vista?
