Problems copying to USB Drive

I'm trying to copy a list of files from my hard drive to the USB and I get a message that there is no more space. The USB drive however shows a lot of space left. Any ideas?

Hello almat,

We want to run a few tests here.

Try unplugging the USB HD and let it remount again.
Using Mac's Disk Utility, run first aid on the USB device.

And finally, uninstall NTFS for Mac, mount the usb device, and reinstall NTFS for Mac.
