Hello,
Ever since I've installed Snow Leopard I've had a terrible problem with the Finder just being tied up for several minutes (beachball) at a time and then suddenly working again for a few seconds. The cycle then repeats. The problem is 100% NTFS. This is the case for 7.0.3 and the beta that came before it, but it is actually more frequent in 7.0.3.
FYI: I did a complete wipe and reinstall of Snow Leopard. I have all of my apps back on and when the NTFS driver is active (check box in NTFS pref pane), then the problem occurs. When it is not checked (drive off), then the problem completely disappears.
I'll be happy to provide Paragon with whatever info they need to help track this bug down if anyone is interested.
Many thanks,
Jim
