I downloaded this a few days ago. It's a pretty simple program. I'm not sure whether it compares to AxCrypt (my favorite) or PGP concerning security, but I like it. I'll stay with AxCrypt for now, but will keep this one, combined with my 15 digit password.
Anyone know if there's a backdoor key - not that it matters? If Homeland Security got into my computer, they'd all die of boredom. They wouldn't even have porn to look at (wife won't allow it).

I thought this looked interesting, especially for free. So I installed it and attempted to create a self extracting encrypted executable from a simple bitmap file. It made an icon for it and then said it was unable to create the file. You don't get a second chance to make a first impression. It was a nice idea for a program that just wouldn't work for me.

I encrypted a couple of things without a problem and unencrypted them just as easily. I haven't tried anything but text type documents, but that's all I'd use it for anyway.
