I keep seeing this in Vista event log:

Activation context generation failed for "G:\Program Files\ESET\ESET NOD32 Antivirus\MFC80U.DLL".Error in manifest or policy file "G:\Program Files\ESET\ESET NOD32 Antivirus\Microsoft.VC80.MFCLOC.MANIFEST" on line 5. Component identity found in manifest does not match the identity of the component requested. Reference is Microsoft.VC80.MFCLOC,processorArchitecture="x86",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",type="win32",version="8.0.50608.0". Not too sure for vista, but everytime i've seen this on xp it's accompanied with alot of sidebyside errors in event viewer. Usually installing the visual c++ runtime fixes it. Try looking on microsoft's site for visual c++ runtime 2005 sp1 for vista (which is 8.0)....might help...might not....
