View Full Version : NOD32 Blocking Facebook?

Been using NOD32 for several years now, and currently using NOD32 v4.0 with Update 4427 (20090915).

My wife loves Facebook, specifically the game there called Farmville (it's a Flash based game that loads in your web browser). Starting yesterday with the NOD32 update, the only way to let Farmville fully load is to disable NOD32 Anit-Virus and Spyware Detection (which is something I REALLY don't like doing).

With NOD32 running, Farmville only loads to 98% and freezes. The only way to correct this problem is a reset (cntrl + alt + del does nothing).

Is NOD32 seeing a false positive (via Spyware protection) in this game that is preventing it for loading?

Thanks for your time.

If NOD32 sees this game as malicious and dangerous , it would inform you and take actions , no crash .

Are you sure that it is NOD32 exactly , not the Flash player or the browser ?
