I'm debating on whether I should buy a 1 year or 2 year license for NOD32 version 4. Two years is a better deal, but if NOD32 version 5 comes out 1 year from now, am I stuck on version 4 until my 2 year license expires? Or can I upgrade to version 5 before my 2 year license expires?
Thanks ... Ben

No , you are not stuck with anything .
ESET's policy is very generous . You buy a license for the product (not for the version) and you can use whatever supported version you want . Right now with a license for NOD32 you can use either v2 , v3 or v4 .
If v5 comes out (but I doubt) and your license is active , the upgrade will be free for existing customers.

That's great to hear. It's good to see there's still some companies with policies that make good sense. Thank you -- I'm going to buy the 2 year license!

They need to sort out v4 first...
