Today I noticed that whatever I typed in the Google search engine had a different font.
Actually I'm not sure if it's a new font, but things look larger/bold.
VERY annoying.
Enough to convince me to switch to a different default search engine.
For the record: Google is not my home page, I don't have a Google email account or browser (IE 7) and I don't have a Google toolbar.
I did some research (google!) and it seems many users are complaining about this. Like, I'm not 90 years old.
It seems I cannot change this. If anyone knows a way to roll back to the previous 'font' I'd like to know how. I've seen some scripts that purportedly would do that, but I don't like to execute scripts I find on the internet, and even if it worked it could cause problems if Google would make new changes or undo this recent one.
I even tried CCleaner and restoring an image (I presumed I had messed it up), but that didn't work.
It's VERY annoying.
