I updated Quicktime Player to version 7.6.4 via Apple Software Update on both of my computers today. After updating I found that the Quicktime plugin had been removed from Firefox. I wound up downloading the full Quicktime installer and doing a repair install to get it back.
Maybe no one else will experience this during the update but you might want to check that your Firefox plugin is still installed after the update just to be sure.
