Prevx beta with GeSWall

I tried the beta with GW since I have a license for both; and prevx doesn't appear to protect the browser beyond the current malware detection. I tried creating a rule for http://* domains and still prevx didn't do anything besides putting a tab above the address bar. I suppose this should be expected since the protection is overlapping, so to speak. When I uninstall GW prevx browser protection works fine. It would be awsome if the two could work together since prevx has some browser protection functions that GW doesn't.

Ah, yes... I see what you mean. This is all that I get with GeSWall and the new Prevx Web Browser Security (see this thread post (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showpost.php?p=1539175&postcount=254)). But if I run my browser as not isolated in GeSWall, then I experience the functionality that this new Prevx offers. I'd like you to explain the secure browser functions that Prevx offers that GW doesn't, if you would, please. :)

We have added GeSWall to our list of programs to test against and will be hopefully correcting compatibility in the next version :)

That's good news. The beta seems to work fine with Defensewall though, at least in the limited time I've been working with this beta. I appreciate how responsive Prevx is to their customers keep up the good work!

Have you had a chance to try Prevx RC 3.0.4.191 with GeSWall yet? :)

Update:

With Prevx release 3.0.4.195 the prevx tab is unable to provide host name, IP, etc. unless a rule is added to GW resources. The prevx.exe needs to be identified in GW as a system file before it can display info in the prevx tab. Running prevx.exe as a trusted resource doesn't seem to grant the privileges necessary for it to function properly. But I am by no means an expert on this.
