This is a question I encountered on a Dutch computerforum.
Partly out of curiosity and partly to make sure.
When starting Windows 98 SE a file called TC$10001.exe is created in the Windows\Temp folder
Selecting Properties for this file learns that it is UPX executable packer made by http://upx.sf.net/
Trial and error method learned that this file is created by automatic startup for The Cleaner.
Does any of you know what it´s for?
For those of you that want to read the original thread (in Dutch): http://www.helpmij.nl/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=76109
Regards,
Pieter
