What is the purpose of the browser add-on AUTHZAX.DLL? I cannot find any information that is conclusive about it other than its origin is from Microsoft.
I went to Microsoft Office Update today (unsandboxed) and installed AUTHZAX.DLL thinking that I was supposed to. After that I could not get IE8 to open in Sandboxie (Access Restrictions). Yes, I have Access Restrictions in Sandboxie. I got frustrated and restored using Windows XP System Restore to a restore point which was made yesterday. Everything is running fine now.
