Hello to everyone.
I'm using a MacPro 3,1 (Quad-Core Xeon @2.8GHz) with Mac OS X 10.5.6
I received two identical external hard disk drives from a client: they are both LaCie d2 quadra 1TB.
I connect them to my Mac via FireWire800.
One of them mounts perfectly and the other doesn't.
Both were initialized as Ext3 with the same machine at my client's facility.
The only difference between them as far as I can determine is that when I open Disk Utility and check the properties of these disks, the one that I can mount and read has as Partition Map Scheme: Unformatted and the one that I cannot mount has as Partition Map Scheme: Master Boot Record.
Any ideas?
Regards,
Jj
