Question spywareblaster - firefox dropping protections

I check for updates daily when I start my machine. Several times when I check I find about 230 firefox protections have been disabled. I enable all protections and a day or two later they are gone again. Has anyone else observed this yet? If not what information can I check or provide to assist in determining the source of this "unauthorized change",


I am running under windows XP pro fully patched.
