If some application has failed to start (for example the first run after download) - and you receive a ERROR WINDOW:

'(Application name) has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are ...'

- my RESOLUTION of this loading problem:

Right click on icon of your application / Properties / Compatibility tab: and tick the box 'Run this program in compatibility mode for ...' . Next click APPLY and OK.

That's all. Yes, this is caused by compatibility problem with your Windows ... notch, this little box, please ... Not forget the click on OK after each opening of Properties tab.

Checked this box - solved my problem.

There we are! Easy and painlessly.
