GesWall 2.9 and screen redraw issues

After install the latest version of GesWall, I noticed that windows now leave very visible white trails when moved across the desktop. Also, when I close a window, it doesn't just disappear - I can see it vanish from the top down over a period of about a second. These problems persist after uninstalling GesWall, but I can only bring them about by installing said application, and nothing I do seems to fix them even after uninstallation.

Anyone know what might be causing this?

(Also, just FWIW, I do prefer to have my windows show their contents when dragged.)

i see such things if ever my pc is slow in virtual memory, but not with geswall but at that time my system is extremely sluggish also.

This is just during normal operation, when the CPU is barely working at all and no swap is being used.
