why cant i renew my license?

going away on monday, license expires 30/9/09. want to leave everything in order, when i go to renew license it says i can't, but i can within 30 days of expiry? well it's the first today? im guessing i wont be able to tomorrow eother as it's sunday?

I'm assuming that 30/09/09 is 30th September... so to be within 30 days of the license expiring, the date from which you are able to renew should be 1st September (not 1st August)?? :)
