View Full Version : Keeps telling me to restart after Uninstalling

Whenever I try to install ESET smart security on my newly reformatted PC, it keeps giving me this message:

"The computer has not be restarted after a program uninstallation. Please restart the computer and run the installer again."

I have restarted my computer numerous times but it still fails and rolls back the installation.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Please uninstall ESS by following these (http://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN2289&actp=search&viewlocale=en_US&searchid=1249034464138) instructions and then try to install the latest version of ESS from scratch.
