KIS Quick Scan

I have liked the fast scans of KIS after the first scan, and the option to scan only new and changed files. I also like the Quick Scan (QS). I don't have KIS on my computer right now so I may have used the wrong name.

I was wondering what the QS scans, and why other AVs do not have something similar?

idk about scanning only new or changed files, but a lot of AV's do have a quick scan option instead of like a deep or full system scan.
