NOD32 and Gotoassist

A few machines have just found a Virus in gotoassist_phone_application_508_en.exe threat Possible Unknown NewHeur_PE Virus.

Is this legit??? or a false positive.... We use Gotoassist for support desk things..

NewHeur_PE is a very generic detection algorithm that can often be triggered on different kinds of install packagers. I doubt it is a real threat and you should most likely submit it as a false positive.

thanks for the info... will submit once I can get that file.. most users hit delete so its gone... it will show again... :)
