Even though I knew the answers, while registering on brightbulb, I saw certificate error on their site. So I let it pass! :argh:

secure.brighthub.com uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown.
(Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)

Have you updated your Root Certificates lately through Windows Update? I had no problem with validation.
You will find the Root Certificates Update under Optional Downloads at the Windows or Microsoft Update Site.
