Millions stolen in SMS banking scam (http://www.iol.co.za/index.php?set_id=1&click_id=13&art_id=vn20090717110409574C426108)
They don't say but I suppose this applies to cellphone (mobile) banking, and only if
password and username have been obtained via phishing.
I do online banking which requires profile no. (not secret),PIN and lastly username.
If I have to add a beneficiary I must in addition enter a number which is sent to
me by SMS from the bank and needs to be entered before a new beneficiary can be added.
We are now worse than Colombia crime-wise. :argh:
(Hope the link still works)
