Tall Emu is offering Online Armor Premium at $19.98 during a one-day-only sale on July 23.

For the uninitiated here is a quick lo-down on Online Armor Premium:
-{ Quote: "
Overview

Easy to use: You do not need a computer science degree to use Online Armor. The setup process is straightforward, and configuration is one-time event and part of the initial installation process.

Light on Pop-ups: Online Armor’s aim is not to annoy you with too many messages and when it does gives you message they give you clear options on how to respond.

Doesn’t slow down your PC: Online Armor does not slow down your PC.

Personal Firewall: Online Armor's new personal firewall provides awesome protection from inbound threats and complete control of data leaving your computer for the internet.

Online Banking Protection: Never worry about banking online again. Online Armor banking mode is a standout feature locking down your session while you are doing your banking online.

Identity Theft Protection: Probably the number one threat online; identity theft ruins lives. Online Armor protects you from phishing and key logging techniques that these criminals use.

Safe Browsing: This allows you to lock down your online browsing sessions and protect yourself from malicious websites from installing nasties on your machine.

Prevent Spyware: The program blocker gives you control of which programs are allowed to run on your computer. Known safe programs don’t harass you with popups, and dangerous programs will give a red warning popup so you can prevent them from running.

Remove Spyware: If spyware gets onto your computer - perhaps because you have accidentally allowed it, Online Armor will allow you to remove it. Unwanted extensions to internet explorer can be removed with a mouse-click. Unwanted programs can be blocked with the program blocker, or removed completely.

DNS Checker: This stops programs from manipulating your windows settings to misdirect you to fake sites.

Hosts Checker: Similar to the DNS Check, Online Armor checks your HOSTS file and alerts you if anything changes. The hosts file can also be used to make your web browser visit sites other than the one you intended.

Autoruns Management: Allows you to control which programs start automatically with your computer. This can be used to help defeat spyware (it must start sometime) as well as optimize your computer's performance.

Tamper Protection: Malicious programs are getting tougher and tougher and often attack other programs (including security programs) to do their nasty deeds. Online Armor has a process guard function which guards not only itself against tampering, but protects other programs from malicious code.

Keylogger Detection: Online Armor protects your passwords and private information from being stolen by blocking the keylogger as it tries to activate. Online Armors behaviour detection ensures that even specially created or new keyloggers are detected and prevented.

Mail Filter: "Phishing" is the name of a scam which uses fake emails and websites to trick users into disclosing personal information. Online Armor checks inbound mail for tricks used by scammers and, depending on the certainty it will warn you or remove the email. The mail filter works with any email client that supports POP3 or IMAP, including Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird, The Bat, Incredemail, Eudora and others.

Web Filter: Many websites use tricks to install dangerous software on your computer. The type of software can range from the irritating display of popup advertising, through to software designed to steal information or defraud you.

It's a great offer and for sure I'll get a license. The price is right. Actually I believe this should be the regular OA price.

Today I switched from Comodo to Online Armor. I just got tired of all the drama/accusations/questionable toolbars included etc. much of it started by Melih himself.

So far I am VERY impressed and will probably purchase this offer.

That is a great deal...thanks for the link.

I am using OA++ and am VERY impressed with it. I need to buy a couple extra licenses for other family members so I am hoping for a discount on it soon.

The transaction is performed through the regnow shopping cart. It's perfectly safe.

For me it works just as good on Vista as it does XP.
Running OA+ on both.

My laptop runs Vista and I use OA+ along with Avast. ;D

You are welcome!

For what it's worth I just run the standard shield with Avast.
I let OA+ take care of the rest.

All the best to you. ;D

This way it worked for me from Austria.
Go to tallemu.com, choose OA or OA++ and hit "Buy Now".
Then use the second promo code Mike has posted at the bitsdujour site.
Gioiosa sorpresa - 50% off will be applied, even if you choose Euro.

Anyone tried it on w7? I pre-ordered w7 and hate to buy it and find out it wont work.

Found out from their forums a W7 32bit is almost finished and a 64 bit one is in process but may or may not be ready when W7 is released to the public.

Also was it the Premium one on GAOTD back in May?

Damn, I filled up the order just to find out at the end they don't accept Amex... ???

It still doesn't work. ::)

As soon as I am redirected from bitsdujour (English, USD) to RegNow (German, Euro) the 50% off are gone and these rip-off merchants want to have the full price (29,63 EUR). :P

Not a single hint that it will not work with some countries or currencies.
Is this the way bitsdujour and RegNow and >fill in< make some extra Dollars ???

What a shame.

Cheers

This is a great offer for those using Windows 32 bit, but for those using Windows 64 bit there sort of up the creek. How long untill OA gets a 64 bit program and will they have a 50% off intro.

I was thinking of getting the ++ at 50% off if it was available but I don't see this promo code anywhere on that site. What am I missing? And is it cofirmed that ++ is eligible for the discount?

The promo code was removed from the site, I don't know why.
Search the Google Cache (bitsdujour.com), it should be there.

Hi webster. You are right, the bitsdujour link did not work (50% discount was not showing). But after I put Mike's promo code from the comments at the bottom of the page, I got the 50% discount.

Thanks Mike for saving the day!
