I'm divided between Debian and CentOS, both for pretty much the same reason: they're stable, they're fast, and they work, in a time when most Linux distros are horrifically buggy and bloated. I lean more towards CentOS, I think, because it's faster and more stable and because too much desktop stuff is broken on Debian.

Simple, even though I could have selected multiple I selected only one, Slackware. I've been a Slackware user since 1993. Still have the installation floppies I created back then. When GNOME was dropped I almost changed, but stuck with it, besides I can add it my self or use GWARE
Right now I am testing Slackware64.

Since we are being picky neither is OpenSolaris. ;)

You're right, it isn't. But it's not being picky..
Linux is one thing, BSD another, Solaris yet another. They are simply not Linux distributions.

Ubuntu and Debian for me, although I can think of a half dozen others that are right up there too.

I like most distros to be honest, and all have their plus points and their annoyances.
I really can't choose between Debian and Fedora at the moment so I voted for both.

I quite like fedora and debian.
ive been having a few issues with fedora.
I tryed to dualboot it using easybcd like i did with 10 but with 11 it doesnt work. i think its because of the seprate boot partition needed due to ext4.
Plus fedora crashes virtualbox 3=(

I'm not familiar enough with many of them to have a preference beyond what I'm using. The one I'm sure I will not try/use hasn't been released yet, Google or Chrome Linux.

Bearing in mind there's hundreds of ditros an "other" option is probably required in this poll.
Sidux, Wolvix, Slitaz, Vector, Zenwalk, DSL all spring to mind.
