Turn off or schedule Startup Scan?

Is there a way to do this task? EVERY time I have to boot/reboot, it takes just to long to scan. Perhaps schedule to scan once weekly/monthly, etc? Please tell me if this is possible and how to do it. ???

Since startup scans are run with as low priority as possible, you shouldn't notice any impact on the performance. The startup scanner is an additional layer of protection and thus we do not recommend disabling it. The startup scanner ensures that all files run at system startup are rescanned after each update which improves your protection.
