chkdsk problem

WindowsXP Pro, 32-bit, 4gig RAM. Been having a problem with the free version of Returnil. I only use the memory caching. Occasionally upon rebooting my system will run a chkdsk. This does not happen every time, maybe every 4th time. Chkdsk always appears to run ok and everything appears fine at least from what I've been able to see but I must admit, I'm not exactly sure what to look for after a chkdsk. Whenever I uninstall Returnil this problem goes away, upon reinstall of Returnil ... you guessed it, problem returns. Any ideas, thank you.

Does Windows give any indication of why it is running Chkdsk? If so, please post the error message text.

Thanks, Coldmoon, presently Returnil is off my system but next time I reinstall it I will do that. 8)
