Hi,
Sorry, but we have another question regarding the console. We've run into a number of machines with the same machine name (Owner-PC) and the agent fails to deploy until we clear the list of successful installs each time.
I want to have RAC identify clients based on MAC address only instead of by hostname. I toggled the following two settings in the RAS options:
Enable Computer Name Renaming
and
Enable Mac Address Renaming (from valid to another valid)
Those two seem to indicate that they're the settings responsible for whether or not MAC address/hostname are used as part of the identification. When I change the Computer Name setting to either Yes or No RAS still asks the einstallers to quit installing.
What do I need to do to make RAS only identify based on MAC address? Or is this a bug?
