Does ESS and ESET NOD32 are almost the same? I mean in preventing and real time protection.
I change NOD32 to ESS because my nod32 v.3 don't freakin update. And I decided to change ESS yeah it's updating now, 4221 btw.
Does ESS can prevent the rogue's?
Btw, I'm using v.3 of ESS

Hi aerialrave,
ESET Smart Security is pretty much ESET Anti Virus with the addition a firewall and antispam technology.
It tells more here (http://www.eset.com/smartsecurity/) and here (http://www.eset.com/products/nod32.php)

The scanning engine is the same for both ESS and NOD32 when comparing version numbers. 3.0.684 of ESS and NOD32 are the same and 4.0 of ESS and NOD32 are the same as well.
