I'm just wondering, can the boot sector virus infect the NTFS file system ? cause I've heard that almost boot sector viruses are outdated.
And if it does, can we fix it with fdisk /mbr ?
Thanks

Microsoft says it is not completely secure: check this article (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;122221)
As far as I can see, data on ntfs are far better secured than on FAT. If you start windows with ctrl-alt-del, any unauthorized process (your virus) will be killed, so there's a security measure you better take.
Cleaning: fdisk is not that bad, but you better use a cleaning tool.
