View Full Version : limit on number of .LIC files?

I have a customer who is in a fairly rapid growth phase - he want to buy small quantities of licenses to add to their company license as they are needed - one week it might be 12, the next 24, then maybe nothing for a month, and then perhaps 20.

Changing the license each week or month might be a bit of a problem - but I wondered if:

a. can he purchase multiple licenses and load the RA with as many .LIC files as he wants?
b. at the end of the year, can he add all of these together and get say a 300 seat license to replace his multiple .LIC files? Some of the .LIC files would be expiring, some would have maybe 11 months left - it would be a bit of pain, but he can not guess how many seat he needs, and he does not know if his growth will be 10x or 20x his current license level.

A bit of a problem I know... any thoughts?

Hello webyourbusiness,

The customer can purchase license bundles at separate times based upon his needs. If doing this, make sure that the company information exactly matches the information that was used for the purchase of previous license bundles. This allows the licenses to be attached to the customers account and it will make them easier to manage. If at some point down the road he/she needs to bundle the licenses together, that can be handled by contacting the sales department. If you have any more questions feel free to ask. I hope that I have helped.

Thank you,
Richard
