SpywareBlaster 4.2 freezes while enabling FireFox

I read earlier threads about version 1.4 doing this and how subsequent revisions were supposed to correct the problem but here it is all over again. It occurs on one of my older conputers with Win98SE installed. I had just upgraded to 4.2 and started to load it for the first time when the program froze while enabling FireFox. Every subsequent attempt had the same results. I reinstalled the program and got the same results. Any ideas?

Neglected to mention I am using FireFox 2.0.0.20 on this computer. I don;t think Win98SE is compatible with anything later than this.

I'm mostly a lurker without a lot of technical knowhow but you expect todays programs to work with 98SE and FF 2.0? Isn't that asking alot?
