Anyone else having trouble loading this link? I've been hoping to find a Windows 7 edition comparison.

I don't see hardly any differences between the Home Premium, Pro and Ultimate. Wonder what gives with that? There must be something different.....

Yeah, certainly not 100 bucks worth (full version diff), IMHO. Unless, of course, you want/need some stuff like backup to network, EFS, and the like.

That's a nice chart, thanks. And interesting. From the looks of that, I am thinking all I'd really need is the Home Premium edition.

Home Premium 64-bit with 16 GB Max Ram and 2 processor support looks like a good option.

Finally got thru. The link provided by Blue showed that Home Premium will not include AppLocker (which is part of Local Security Policy). From that I would assume that just like previous versions Local Security Policy will not be a part of the Home Premium edition. Too bad....$49.00 is a steal for an upgrade to Windows 7 but I use Local Security Policy all the time. I'll have to mull this one over...but I'll probably pay the extra $50.00 and get the Professional.
Later...
