Hi Guys,

I've currently got GData 2010 AV and Outpost Firewall Pro running, but the thing is I want to just have one application running, don't like the fact that I need two different applications running for security.

So I need a suggestion, I have a beta key for Agnitum and the Outpost Security Suite is my next choice but I'm just wondering about the Antivirus on the actual suite, is it powerful enough etc. and what are it's rates against GData, I just need help choosing.

Outpost uses Virusbuster while GData uses three top av engines.

So basically my current setup would be the best option?

If Outpost & GData run together without problems I would stick with that. I had the same set-up as you however the two did not get along. Outpost kept shuting down the avk tray icon. I gave up & kept GData & switched firewalls. Outpost Security Suite is new on the scene & time will tell how it fairs.

GData 2010 runs great on my system. It was a hard decision for me because I have used Outpost for years & have a lot of respect for the firewall, it's one of the best in my opinion.

Again, in my opinion & would use Outpost firewall & GData 2010 a/v if they work on your system, it's a solid combination.

GData used Bitdefender & Avast engines.

OK thanks for that.

Yeah I was looking at G Data 1st and saw that it had the best detection rates.

Then I already had the Outpost Beta Licenses but checked on Matousec and saw that it was one of the best,

I did use the products and do like the new 2009 line up a lot.

Thanks for all your help then on clearing that up, I'll stick with this combo then.
