Have one more link:
Sumatra PDF (http://blog.kowalczyk.info/software/sumatrapdf/index.html)
Personally, I don't find Adobe Reader bloated at all, and I believe there was some unofficial "lite" version of it floating around. What I care about in PDF viewer, is quality of rendering, and this is what Adobe Reader provides me.

I use Foxit, and block the update seeking with my firewall.
What I miss about Adobe is the "thumbnails" of the PDF files.
I do not get the with Foxit.
Also I miss the "my Bookshelf" from the older Adobe readers.

I have found PDF-XChange Viewer to be the best substitute for Adobe. It even offers the ability to type on PDFs. In general, Foxit is ok, but be careful not to install the "free" toolbar...

I gave up on Foxit a few weeks ago when the install would not install the toolbar in Firefox, notthat I wanted the toolbar, but, as I recall, it was not optional.

Same here. 8)
I´m waiting only when XChange Viewer will allow to show and see attached (embedded) files, in a very short time.

The Ask Jeeves toolbar is optional, it's a checkbox you can leave, or remove.
As is the shortcut they did for eBay.
