Hi guys and gals,

What's the best way to deal with this? EAV EB 4.0.437, latest defs. We have a commercial Excel macro that's getting flagged as a virus. I've excluded the folder via the Exclusions path but it's still getting picked up when we run the add-in via Excel.

Can .xla files be submitted to ESET to get them excluded in new defs? if so, what's the procedure please.

I don't really want to exclude .xla files if I can help it.

Hello jimwillsher,

To submit the file in question, check out the Knowledgebase article below:

You can submit false positive via email or ESET software.

Within ESET software, change Display mode to "Advanced" from the bottom left corner. Select "Tools" and then "submit file for analysis".

Many thanks Wayne and SamSa, I've subitted the file for analysis. At least I hope it's been sent, there's no confirmation dialogue or anything to say that it's gone okay.
